Join the Rotary Club of Brevard, the Brevard Rotary Foundation and the Community of Brevard, North Carolina for the Twenty-Eighth Annual 5K Flight of the Vampire Race. This event benefits the Brevard Rotary Foundation and their associated charitable events. Come out and run at twilight through beautiful Brevard, Transylvania County, North Carolina, in the shadow of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Pisgah National Forest. During the day and evening enjoy the festivities of HALLOWEEN FESTIVAL sponsored by the Heart of Brevard. There will be loys of great food and entertainment on and off Main Street, which will be closed for the day. Beginning on S. Broad St. west to Countyry Club Road. Left on Gallimore Roa, continue to Highway 276, then left to traffic ligh, right onto Park View to Park Avenue to French Broad St. Left on French Broad St. to N. Johnson St. Take a left up the hill pass Main St. to Maple St. Right onto Maple St. to S. Gaston St. and take a left to the Finish Line. |

- Participants must be in good health and must sign a waiver to participate.

- $20 until October 20th, $25 thereafter.
- The entry fee is Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable

- Registration is from 2:00 PM until 5:45 PM on the day of the run.
- NO ENTRY will be accepted after 5:45 PM
- Packet pickup after the race

Timing and
Chip Pick-Up:

- Timing is provided by SETUPEVENTS using Championship Chips.
- Chip pickup is on race day from 2:00 PM until 5:45 PM
- You must wear a chip in order to be timed and receive results after the event.
- Lost or non-returned chips will result in a $25.00 charge.

| Directions: |
|
- From the north or south using I-85, from Charlotte or Atlanta, take the I-26 W exit at Spartenburg, SC, to Asheville, NC. On I-26 W, take Exit 40 (Asheville Airport) to the west on NC HWY 280. Proceed to Brevard through Pisgah Forest, NC (the entrance to the Pisgah National Forest) where you leave HWY 280 and pick up HWY 64 & 276 west. The city of Brevard, and the beginning of the race will be about 4 miles from this intersection.
- If you are coming from I-40, either from the east (Raleigh) or west (Knoxville), you should exit at Asheville on to I-26 E. As above, exit I-26 at the Asheville Airport exit (I-26 Exit 40) and proceed to Brevard.
- If you are not using the Interstate Highway system, US highways 64 and 276 give east and west access to Brevard.
